Leave Paris by coach in the morning, and discover the evergreen scenery of the Normandy countryside, famous for its thatched roof farms, racehorses, and apple trees from which is produced the finest liquor Calvados. Once arrived in Honfleur, picturesque medieval small town featuring its charming harbour , guests will have the opportunity to visit the surprising museum of the contemporary musician Erik Satie, hosted in his personal home. A blend of sound, light, images and objects takes you into Satie’s world of humour and fantasy : more than just an exhibition, Maisons Satie is a vibrant experience revealing the man, his music and his time.
Lunch in Pont l’Eveque at “PERE MAGLOIRE“ Calvados wine cellar , with wine tasting. Possibility of purchasing gift box with bottle of Calva and 2 glasses). Proceed to Deauville, glamorous seaside resort, capital of the american film festival, and stroll along the beach on the famous “planches de Deauville”. Arrival in Paris in the evening.
Day 1 : Leave Paris by coach in the morning, and proceed to the Mont St Michel and it’s famous Abbey . The « Wonder of the Western World » forms a tower in the heart of an immense bay invaded by the highest tides in Europe. Lunch in le Mont St Michel in the deep heart of the medieval city like LES TERRASSES POULARD (capacity 200 pax) : In the afternoon, stop in Bayeux and visit the Museum hosting the famous tapestry dated from the middle-age featuring William the Conqueror ‘s battle against the English Kingdom. By the end of the afternoon, drive along the landing beaches before arriving in Deauville. Accommodation at the Hotel Normandy (300 rooms).
Day 2: Optional activities during the day. Half day gastronomic tour with lunch: visit a Calvados distillery” & cheese factory : guided tour of the cellars of the “Père Magloire and tasting of the products. Authentic Normandy meal served in the proper restaurant “Les Tonneaux de Père Magloire”. Visit the cheese factory “Grain d’Orge” in Livarot and cheese tasting. Max: 50 pax at one time for the visit. Max: 150 pax for lunch. Golf Barrière de Deauville . Overhanging the city, the golf course offers a wonderful panoramic view over the surrounding seaside and countryside. 18 holes. Green fee for the day. Return to Paris in the evening.
