This excursion will give you an idea of “castle life” and the essence of royal lifestyle since the Renaissance. The 1st stop will be at Cheverny Castle : the most beautifully furnished Castle of the Loire. It is still inhabited. Lunch at the candle lights in a tufa local restaurant “LA CAVE” in Montlouis . Then continue the journey and proceed to Chambord Castle, the largest of the Loire Castles You will admire the great work of François 1st. You walk up to the terraces with the famous “double revolution” staircase attributed to Leonardo Da Vinci. Chenonceau Castle known as the “Château des Dames” (“Ladies Castle”) in the History of France; Return to Paris in the evening and dinner en route.

Loire Valley Castles: 1 day trip from Paris – transfer by helicopter for lunch and/or seminar in a castle, small groups.

Take off from Paris and have a wonderful panoramic view of Paris and surroundings… You will land after 1 hour flight in the deep heart of the Loire Valley in a very attractive manor DOMAINE DE BEAUVOIS surrounded by a 140 acres woodland park. 1 night accommodation in a tufa manor max: 15pax DAY 1: Paris by minibus, and proceed to the Loire Valley.The first stop will be dedicated to the visit of Amboise, famous for its renaissance castle built under François 1er and the Clos Lucé , last home of Leonardo da Vinci. Lunch in Amboise at “LE CLOS DES LYS”. After lunch, continue till Azay le Rideau, visit the castle; By the end of the afternoon, guests will enjoy a wine tasting in a private cellar in Vouvray ,before arriving at “LES HAUTES ROCHES” very exclusive manor house of rare beauty, overlooking the Loire River. The hotel is literally sculpted into the cliff face. Today this former monastery is a gallery of beautifully decorated cocoons, with sandy floors and tufa walls.

DAY 2: suggested activities: Relax at the hotel; Wine tasting at hotel’s cellar; Enjoy a cruise on the Loire River. After lunch, on the way back to Paris, stop at the Villandry English-style gardens.
