Undulating landscapes, where olive trees and fruit trees still grow amidst the luxurious villas, form the countryside surrounding Nice. It is also a Carnival Town, known as one of the most famous in the world and compared with Rio, Trinidad and Venice.
Cannes
The splendid surroundings, the mosaic of authentic districts, the luxurious setting and the exceptional quality of service all contribute to making Cannes the ideal destination for those who have an Epicurean vision of life. After lunch, departure to Le Domaine de Katia (carnation flowers). Producer of carnations for 3 generations, Katia presents its family where the culture of the carnation is a traditional Nice to know since the fifties: Vero, Lecchio, Mauro … white, yellow, red, pink, yellow streaked purple … a real delight on the history and culture of carnation.Tasting of regional products.
Flavours and tradition of Grasse.
Kir with your choice of flowers (mimosa, rose, violet or lavender). Talk: The Mediterranean garden – historical and culinary anecdotes about the Rosa centifolia, herbs such as savory, rosemary, melissa, wild thyme and sage – and local tales of absinthe. Talk: The olive tree and its produce – olives, oils, olive pastes, tapenades plus free tasting of various olive oils. Flowers in gastronomy – handling and tasting crystallized flowers, flower syrups and flower jams, plus aperitif tasting (white wine and flower syrup). Visit to the shop with a score of different honeys, aperitifs and Provençal liquors, AOC (appellation origine controllée) wines, traditional confectioneries, jams and nougats, all produced locally in Provence.

Cookery course in Grasse.
Olive tapenade or anchovy cream or pistou, iIncludes a recipe. Talk: The olive tree and its gastronomical products – olives, oils, olive pastes, tapenades plus free tasting of various olive oils. Practical cookery workshop in which participants learn how to make black olive tapenade by working local ingredients together using a pestle and mortar. Recipes provided at the end of the session. Flowers in gastronomy.
Illustrated talk with tasting of specialities made with flowers of your choice (mimosa, rose, violet, poppy, lavender). Talk: Cooking with flowers – a tradition in Grasse – illustrated by presentation of 3 flower syrups, 3 flower jams and 2 crystallized flowers. Tasting of syrups with mineral water or in kir with champagne. Tasting of jams on toasts. Tasting of the flowers crystallized in sugar, just to crunch or with champagne. Comments on the use of this produce in cookery.

Discover the virtues and well-being of essential oils and aromatherapy while learning where they come from and how aromatherapy is closely-linked to the world of perfumery. Take part in a hands-on workshop using simple recipes to blend oils according to the benefits they can bring in everyday use. A learning experience in the world of aromatherapy. This workshop is given by a professional aromatherapist and available only upon request in advance. Each group is welcomed with a guided tour of our factory led by guides fluent in major foreign languages. A complimentary aromatherapy kit containing eight essential oils and simple home recipes are offered to each participant.

With a time limit of 1h30, you create and make a dish to be presented before a professional jury. Each team has at its disposal a pantry of the same ingredients and cooking equipment. You can play 2 trump cards « Special tricks from the Chef ». Then, enjoy your own meal.

It is a day of discovery around a circuit that is selected from among those presented: Les Corniches, l’Estérel, the Nice valleys, the old villages. For each circuit we offer a detailed road-book of the trail and the proposed activities, so you can build your day according to your tastes and desires. It is an adventure to live with two …. A driver for driving a co-pilot to guide and follow the signs for the road book. It’s still a wonderful time around a good table in a restaurant full of charm in the middle of the trail. Some of the cars at disposal : Mercedes SL, Alfa Romeo Spider, the MG B , Coccinelles.

Regatta Cannes.
The teams are made up of two crews who will take it in turns between sailboats and a passenger craft (a fast boat capable of accommodating up to 250 people). A commentary enables you to better understand the race of the service.
Participants are welcomed at the port. Briefing and boarding of the teams on the sailboats and the passenger craft. Regatta for one team and a discovery cruise for the other team. Change over of groups according to your timing. Announcement of the results and prizegiving possible on the passenger craft or the sailboats.

Treasure Hunt at the Lerin’s islands, Cannes – « On the pirate trail »
Relaxed and light-hearted atmosphere where the adventure will be driven by active participation and good teamwork Treasures. Treasures are put in place out of sight of everyone, immersed several metres down with a position advertised in latitude and longitude. The positions of these treasures will be communicated to the crew on a “parchment” document. The crew members discover and hoist up the treasure: a wooden box containing 2 bottles of Mumm champagne – (treasure/sailing). Course planned according to the day’s weather, with a level of difficulty in accordance with the profile of the clients. Designed around a fun and historic circuit, where nature is still wild, the scenery breathtaking.
Mercantour National Park – Tinée Valley.
